The World Ophthalmology Congress 2012 - the convention held in the UAE capital which is currently running at Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC) with more than 10,000 attendees - is delivering a huge direct economic benefit to the emirate with predictions that it will also spur increased interest in the city as a vibrant meetings hub.
